All orders intended for Christmas MUST be placed by noon on Wednesday 18th December to guarantee delivery.

Orders received after this date and during the period between Christmas and New Year will not be dispatched until the first week of the New year.

PENDRAGON IS BACK!

For those fans of our Pendragon buffalo cheese who haven’t noticed, it is once more available through our on-line shop.

We have a new supplier of buffalo milk and have been busy making Pendragon since February.  These first batches are now mature and are selling like hot cakes!

If you’ve never tried Pendragon then you’re missing a real gem.  We’ve changed the original recipe slightly to really make the most of the creamy texture and the wonderful taste that is initially quite mild but then builds on the palate to give a stronger, lingering, slightly salty finish.

Hopefully customers have also noticed that we’ve reduced our courier costs.  We’ve almost halved them!

The cheeses from Somerset Cheese Company are firm favourites with our customers, the different varieties of milk used to make the cheeses is a big factor in this with each type having its own distinctive flavour.  My personal favourite is Rainbows Gold with its rich curd and sticky pungent rind, it is quite different from any other local cheese and a great addition to the range!

As well as consistently making fantastic tasting cheese, Phillip and Anita have been lovely people to work with, over the years they have given a novice deli owner invaluable help with great advice based on their wealth of knowledge and lots of support with numerous tasting events both in the deli and out at festivals.
